Its outrageous but not surprising. This sort of unconstitutional antic will happen more and more in trumps america.
They know its fascism but they dont care.
your post is a manifestation of HYSTERIA---
Grants can be withdrawn---there is nothing
"UNCONSTITUTIONAL" about it. It's
normative politics---corollary stuff is going
on in our major universities----ONE WAY
OR THE OTHER-----it's just a matter of which
WAY ----YOU prefer

Tommy, thank you for once again reinforcing why America has turned our back on Europe.

Good luck with everything. Don't call us....we'll call you. I mean, we won't, but whatever helps you sleep at night.

There's no reason to give a movie theater a grant, and there's no reason to stifle free speech. Let the dude invest his own money and then STFU. This is the kind of bullshit that happens when you get government involved.

/---/ The mayor of Miami Beach is attempting to evict an independent cinema from city-owned property... according to your link.
Let them show it elsewhere, just not on taxpayer's dime.

Do you know for certain that those showing the movie don't pay taxes in Miami?

That's not what I commented on. If those showing the movie pays taxes in Miami they have as much right to use the property as anyone.
If they're receiving a government grant, they gave the government permission to have a say in what they show.

/----/ So what if they do? That doesn't give them the right to show whatever they want on public property without permission.

1) Why should grant money, which comes from Jewish taxpayers, go to funding antisemitism?

2) The movie is one-sided, anti-Jew peopoganda - which is how Hitler got people to hate Jews and go along with exterminating them.

3) How come we didn’t hear any defense of “free speech” when conservatives’ opinions were censored? Would we hear it if blacks were the victims? Or gays? Of course not. But when the hate and lies goes to advancing antidemitism, you can be sure the leftists all of a sudden are in favor of “free speech.”

Of course it is if the mayor is wanting to remove them from the property.
apparently, the mayor wants to remove them for showing undesirable films. -----I grew up in a town-----books were removed from the public libraries because someone found something horrific in "LOLITA" My mom hid her copy in her underwear drawer-----an easily breached security system-----

Maybe that's what the FBI was looking for when they searched Melania Trump's underwear drawer.
