I've seen fights on Golf Course down here. Heard about many more. Few result in the Cops being called.

Know what's worse, by far? The Boat Ramp. I can't tell you how many fights I've seen at the Boat Ramp. My Wife wanted to kick some guy's ass once. She couldn't have, of course. Which would have drawn me into it. At 5'6" and 120lbs, she's not gonna kick too many guys asses.

I bring the boat to the dock, she holds it there while I run and get the truck, come back, back it into the ramp and I drive the boat on while she drives the truck out of the ramp. Total time, 5 minutes. Some asswipes didn't understand the procedure and demanded she move it and -- That's not the way it works and she let them know it. Some Good Ol' boys were watching her chew them up and were laughing their butts off. smartasses

Out of towners often don't understand the rules. Which is fine as long as you're nice about it but when you turn into an asshole, expect to get your ass beat.

My Wife was a Construction Secretary her entire working life down here. Thirty years?

The places she worked at were always "Projects" that had Golf Courses on them. Nice ones. Pulte, Toll Bros, etc. Championship Courses.

I could have played them any time I wanted for free. Wouldn't even have to pay to rent a Cart. But I just couldn't get into Golf. I tried. I wasn't horrible at it, I mostly just didn't see the point.

But I was buddies with the Golf Pros. Talk about a Cake job. If I were advising a young Man, and he had any talent at all, I'd tell him to go to College and take up Golf. Good money, you run the Pro Shop and make all that money, plus you give Private Golf Lessons..... Sometimes to some serious Babes (lots of stories there ) and you mostly sit back and watch the money roll in.

Most of the guys I knew, if not ALL of them, had been on the 'Tour' at one time or another. Which sucks. Shitty way to live. But it makes a huge difference on your resume.

I digress. But for me, personally..... I don't care for Golf. It bores the shit out of me. I'd rather watch paint dry. Or even worse -- Baseball
