Not like this. Believe me I'm here. Three or four days of non-stop torrential rains has drowned at least a dozen people and made 10s of 1000s evacuate.

I lived in Passau many years ago, it always floods, these floods aren't the worst this year for that area.

I has stopped raining though rivers are still high. Forecast is for dry sunny days this week so the worst is over.

We had some biblical floods in Prague about 15 years ago. Subways flooded and many apartments and houses inundated. They built various anti-flood walls and channels designed to divert water to temporary low lying areas. Prague fared much better this time around. Most of the damage was to low -lying towns in the country.

America Needs to Provide More Weapon Systems To Ukraine!

Another good reason to exit Europe if the US provokes the Big Bear too far .

UK is just fine , I am reliably informed .

A city close to me suffered two floods in the space of 10 years apart. I went through a spell of being a deltiologist, collecting old postcards on the town where I was born and grew up, and the neighbouring city. There are many postcards going way back depicting past floods. Reading old books, the city has suffered floods for hundreds of years, because it's built on a floodplain. As these floods happen once or twice in our lifetime, they now get labelled as climate change evidence, which is a fraud.
