Fleet-Fingered Roy Clark, the legendary country music singer & co-host of "Hee Haw," has died at 85

I remember one time on a variety show back in the 70's, 80's something like that. He came out on stage and said, now I'm going to do a medley of my hit.
He had one hit, and of course that was Yesterday.

He and a group of young singers came down to give us a show at my airbase in Panama right after Operation Just Cause. Great guy. We were all very grateful that he and the kids he brought with him cared enough to come down and remind us that the folks back home remembered us. It was a very touching experience.

The highlight of his performance was Malaguena. It's been a favorite of mine since.

RIP Roy Clark, an outstanding guitar, banjo and a number of other instruments. His Ghost Riders in the Sky, Orange Blossom Special and Dueling Banjos were a sight to watch.

Great appearance on the Odd Couple gives us a glimpse of his talent.
