So why is this child allowed to stay in school? If this were my son he wouldn't be sitting down for a while. Pretty sure that it's a boy doing this btw even though they didn't say.

If this kid is only 6-7 years old maybe he should be co-opted to a boxing academy !!

If you look at the possible back history , this seems to be an ongoing situation, possibly involving two warring schools and lots of kids and adults involved using multiple firearms .
Much much more than a single incident with a teacher getting a slap or punch when trying to separate kids and an adult .

Who the hell was this teacher who couldn't handle a first grader? That's ridiculous.

You would be the one to know it's not anything out of the ordinary for America's schools.

Let it go until the kids start bringing their mom's or dad's guns to the classroom.

And still even then, the kid's a good kid until he pulls the trigger!

What makes it so hard could be the fact that no matter what is done in response to the child's choice of action, the teacher could very well kiss their job goodbye later on. In other words, what can they do about a situation like this that will not cost them their teaching career?

God bless you and all well-meaning teachers always!!!

1st grade? Really? How is it possible for a teacher to be assaulted by a child as young as that? Was it an accident? Does the teacher have some psychological problems that would lead to an intentional confrontation resulting in injury?

My aunt was a teacher. Any child who attacked her (several) ended up on their backs crying. She would smack the down and later tell their Moms she would smack her down if she did not get the child straightened out.

Taught for almost forty years and retired comfortably.

^^^ The kid could be a special needs child who doesn't know any better.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

I was a special needs child in classes with other special needs children and nobody ever put their hands on the teacher once.

Everyone has a father.

Some don’t know who he is, though.

I know that's what I was referring to and absent fathers.

^^^ A lady that I used to work with lost a male cousin last year and the youngest of his three kids has autism. She told me that the boy will be a challenge for whoever ends up having to take care of him due to how uncontrollable he is.

God bless you and her and her family always!!!

Holly
