First Felon unzipped ... Trump fails in his responsibility with petulant firing of Alexander Vindman

Donald Trump has demonstrated that the GOP Senators who said that the impeachment would cause Donald Trump to temper his actions were dead wrong as Trump conducts a massacre of government officials who testified in the impeachment investigations.

The First Felon is unzipped and has no constraints on his criminal conduct.

Donald Trump was right when he said he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose any support.

A president has the right to a national security team he trusts. A president also has the responsibility to put the best interests of the nation before his own.

Firing Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman on Friday, Trump acted as is his right but abandoned his responsibility.

To be sure, Vindman has become an inherently partisan figure. The moment the Army officer raised concerns about the propriety of a July White House meeting on Ukraine and later a July phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, he risked entering an inherently political space. That became inevitable once the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives launched impeachment proceedings.

Still, there is little evidence that Vindman acted outside the established reporting procedures in raising his concerns, and Vindman's service record as an Army officer suggests that he is first and foremost a patriot. We pay our military officers to make very tough calls in the nation's best interest. Vindman believed, credibly, that he was doing so.

For that reason, he was due more respect from his commander in chief than that which he received on Friday.

Team Trump sees things differently, of course, but Trump's supporters should remember that the president is not a king. ...

I've been waiting for Trump to shoot someone. Any idea who will be the lucky person?
there are many many choices....
ROMNEY? Bolton? Vindman? Gen Kelley? Sondland? Tillman? Gen Mattis? Hillary? Biden? Pres. Velensky? Brennan? Mueller? Rice? Yates? Comey? Strzok? Orh? Page? Scaramucci? Yavanovich? Amb Taylor? Schiff? Nadler? Pelosi? Lev Parnas? Napolitano? shoot, maybe even Giuliani at this point to sweep his wrong doings under the rug before they are all exposed...?

What law did he break, Chuckles?
since Vindman worked with the IC, maybe this one?

Presidential Policy Directive – 19 (PPD-19), Protecting Whistleblowers with Access to Classified Information, also provides protections for IC employees against personnel actions taken in reprisal for lawfully participating in the whistleblowing process. In addition, employees and contractors are protected from reprisals in the security clearance adjudication process. PPD-19 requires that the agency inspector general review whistleblower reprisal allegations in violation of PPD-19. Further, PPD-19 allows employees and contractors to seek an external review from the ICIG of their reprisal allegations once they have exhausted their own agency’s review process.

The Friday Night Massacre.

No one was fired, much less "massacred."

The Vindman brothers are useless in the WH, no one can tell those guys a damn thing confidentially. So they were moved. They weren't going to be kept in the WH to run office football polls or sign people up for office blood drives and United Way contributions.

The whistlegossip had no need to know what Vindman told him....Vindman blatantly violated military laws and protocols regarding privileged information.....He deserves a court martial and dishonorable discharge.

Security Clearances and Security Violations

You guys do realize that Ambassadors and advisors are not elected by the public to serve in their position for a specific number of years nor or they like Supreme Court Justices who after being confirmed can pretty much stay there as long as they wish right. These people serve at the leisure of the President and the President regardless of which party they belong to can fire them anytime they want it was this way long before Trump it will be this way long after Trump leaves office.

he fired Vindman's twin brother who had nothing to do with Vindman's testimony and fired his million dollar donor, Sondland as well... for testifying.

the President, might have once again, broken the law on retaliation.....???

All executive branch personnel serve at the sufferance of the President, only mitigated by civil service regulations passed by congress decades ago.

The Vindman brothers were part of the deep state and the democrat party's attempt to overthrow the government. Maybe in a different age they would have been hanged but the Lt. Col was sent back to the infantry where he belongs. What seems to be the problem?

Vindman's job was to conduct U.S. foreign policy in the manner prescribed by the president who was elected by the people and given constitutional authority to MAKE U.S foreign policy. If any of my employees decide that THEY can supercede my company policy and substitute their own, THEY will be FIRED!

He will be court martialed under UCMJ.
How the Army officer who testified against Trump could end up in a court-martial
