All of my laptops have been locking up lately.....Even the machine with Windoze, which I hardly ever use.

The only thing they all have in common is Firefox browser.

Anyone else having a problem locking up?

I've been reasonably impressed with Brave at those times. Using it more often.

Sounds like it's possibly a Firefox update issue, did you restart Firefox?
A few things to try (all found in Firefox settings).

First, clear your browsing data, all of it for all time.

If that doesn't work try turning off Hardware Acceleration.

Next to try, go to Permissions, enable - Prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser, restart Firefox.

There are a few more steps you can take if none of those work but to do those you need to back up your Firefox settings/profile/bookmarks first.

I am currently running Brave again.
Firefox as of an update last week... Java does not work. There are literally millions of websites that use Java...so..

Ah yes, Netscape one of the looong line of companies brutally f*cked by Microsoft illegally...sued..won..but the damage was long done by the time it settles and M$ got what they wanted.
Word Perfect was another one. Word Perfect was SO much better than Word. Same with Lotus 123 and Excel...same as dBase over Multiplan.
