Currently the production equals the amount that is needed to fuel one nuclear power plant, so this is no game changer. However, it is a huge step in the RIGHT direction !

Keep in mind that spent nuclear fuel can be re-processed and re-used indefinitely. It is expensive but can be done safely.

The U.S. briefly had that capacity but the project was killed by President Carter (now relegated to THIRD worst President in history).
