The three Tennessee Democrats facing an expulsion vote are criticizing the Republicans’ move to try to kick them out of office as evidence of a double standard.

"The three Tennessee Democrats facing an expulsion vote are criticizing the Republicans’ move to try to kick them out of office as evidence of a double standard. “We have had admitted child molesters on the floor, we have had members that have peed in each other’s office chairs, we have someone who has illegally prescribed drugs to their cousin mistress and nothing ever happened to those folks,” said Rep. Gloria Johnson (D—Knox County).
Resolutions to expel Johnson, as well as Reps. Justin Jones (D—Nashville) and Justin Pearson (D—Memphis), came after they protested for gun reform on the House floor with a bullhorn while people were doing the same outside the chamber. House Speaker Cameron Sexton (R-Crossville) equated their actions to Jan. 6 despite there being no arrests or injuries at the Tennessee Statehouse during last week’s protests. “If this is not what rises to the level of expulsion then tell me what does,” Sexton said."
Sexton is right, if what these 2 thugs did doesn't rise to the level of expulsion (and honestly, prison time) - what does? Yea, someone did pee on someone's chair in the state house, but that was just good-natured hijinks...Yes, someone did illegally prescribe pills to his cousin's mistress and yes, there was an admitted child molester who wasn't expelled...but none of those people did it on the House floor...what these two uppity darkies did was much worse and quite honestly, they were trying to directly tear at the fabric of our nation.....No, not with tanks...not with a gun..not even with bats or knives........but with a fully weaponized bull-horn...If these people weren't punished, they would just be embolden to think they can carry themselves in this way.
This is worse than Jan 6th because at least the people on Jan 6th loved our country and respected the House of Congress and the rule of law -- but what these 2 thugs did was blatantly disrespectful to the state and proud history of Tennessee...they had to be made an example of -- and maybe the woman who was with them but didn't get expelled will now learn her lesson -- to not be a nagger lover and lay down with them....
She was lucky this time..Now some may say this will just make these 2 thugs more popular and they will just win their special election...I doubt it, but if this happens....expel them again....and expel anyone else who doesn't like it.....until they all learn their place in our country -- or they can go back to where they came from.
