Zone1 Finally! A Good Place To Hang Out

I've never seen more attention paid to formatting in my life.
I never have, either.

I found your informative Intro to be far more engaging without giving any notice to its verbosity until reading unrelenting comments surely testing your reserve. You scored a 10 in that regard. I, for one, do not like or respond to boring unsolicited advice. :eusa_snooty:

Lockback, I'd like to welcome you to our little cauldron community of witty, knowing or otherwise, collection of the somewhat addictive USMB membership. How refreshing you are.

he not only dumped me as Admin and Super Moderator, he banned me from the political forum.
Yep. Those people are definitely out there. I view it as a form of last-resort cowardliness, so you must have been doing something right--- there is nothing people hate more than the truth.

Donald Trump is a huge, throbbing middle finger to the Deep State establishment and for that, he has my admiration.
Think of him as a comet 25 times the size and mass of Jupiter hurtling through the solar system on a tangential angle at 125,000 mph., utterly impervious to phasers, photons, or any and all political gravity fields. The Lilliputians are literally scrambling for the hills now because Trump represents an immovable object exuding an irresistible force--- and he does not like them or play their ball.

He's always been an outsider and always will be and he doesn't care. I don't always agree with him and I sure as hell don't worship him but I do admire him greatly.
There are a few things I disagree with Trump a lot on, but you have to look at the complete picture and ask yourself whether you are worse off or better off, and if Harris had been elected, this place would be looking like E. Germany by now!

I have a degree in American history and Trump is without question one of the most important politicians in our 249 years. No question.
We are definitely living through historic times:
  • Obama - former WeatherUnderground member with a scurrilous past multiple ss numbers who wants to "fundamentally" change America whom many dispute where he is even from.
  • Hillary - Yeeech. Oh, and secret Loral Missile technology given away for a price to Charlie Lin.
  • Kamala - Dodged a bullet there (no pun intended).
  • Joe Biden - Far less boring and far more dangerous, twisted, and bizarre than I ever dared imagine that I thank the Lord Neptune by kissing his blessed feet every hour on the hour that I no longer have to hear more about any of these people every day.
  • President Trump - Love him or hate him, know that this guy is a millennial event like the Tunguska Event who will go down in history right up there with Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Ulysses Grant, Able Lincoln and others. I thank God he is on our side, because just imagine if the democrats had had brains enough to realize Trump's potential! The Democrat's kissoff of Trump literally rivals when NBC cancelled Star Trek.
And 3.3 more years to go. A tectonic event; something has to give, Trump is the immovable force, Democrat/Leftist/Globalists are the Titanic now lunging straight ahead at the iceberg Donald Trump, and there just is no "bend" in this guy.

Absolutely fantastic post. Thoughtful, truthful, interesting and beautifully crafted. :cheers2:

Whatever became of butterfly knives? They were the hot ticket for a while. Everybody had them.....now everyone has a 9.
Other than cute flipping and spinning them, they were pretty much worthless. I have a 45.

Somebody is posting nonsense

Obama was never a member of Weather Underground. He would have been a child at that time. It is amazing the number of lies that are created by the white right.

Trump will go down in history as the most corrupt president ever. He may possibly be impeached for a third time.

Damn.

Here, it has been, like, three weeks and he STILL hasn't told us the name of that great forum he just found!

Please allow me to introduce myself.
I'm a man of wealth and taste.

Oh. Forget that.
I have no wealth and no taste.
I'm just a guy from Ohio, retired, a lifelong Republican who has strong opinions.
I used to moderate the political board on a huge motorcycle-related forum ... until the owner, a Silicone Valley leftist buddy of Bill Gates, et.al., got so many complaints from the whining liberals (this was during Bush The Younger and Obama), he not only dumped me as Admin and Super Moderator, he banned me from the political forum. :lolly:
Of course, I moved on and Twitter took off. Managed to get banned from Twitter too ... not once, but three times. I never threaten violence or break the rules. But I do a lot of mocking, particularly Adam Schiff, who I suspect may have had a hand in getting rid of me there. When Twitter got sold to Elon Musk, I hoped to sneak back in but unfortunately they were hip to the jive and slammed the door again. Sigh
Despite being a lifelong Republican, I have strayed from the pack a few times. I could not and did not vote for John McCain in 2008. He wasn't sufficiently conservative for me, too interested in currying favor from the New York Times, etc. and the way he picked and treated Sarah Palin was abominable. So I voted Libertarian. In 2012, I held my nose and voted for Romney but wasn't pleased with him either.
And then came Donald Trump. And I couldn't stand him; his arrogance, the way he derided fellow Republicans, you know ... the usual stuff. So I left the Presidential part of the ballot blank in 2016.
But there's an old saying, "You can judge a person by the enemies he makes."
And in the time between the election - since I despise Hillary Clinton, needless to say I was happy even if I didn't vote for him - and the inauguration, I saw the most absurd, insane, crazy, bizarre, twisted reactions to his election I'd ever seen. The mainstream media, an entity I despise with the intensity of a thousand suns, displayed their blatant hatred and bias every single hour of every single day and all the Deep State operatives, both Republicans and particularly Democrats, demonstrated their fear of Trump. So I figured he must be doing something right.
And he was.
As the years have gone by and we were subjected to a bioweapon attack on the United States (COVID) and the single worst president in the history of the United States (Joe Biden), and assassination attempts and the continued hyperbolic, completely dishonest press attacks, while the opposition party attempted to jail and bankrupt Trump, my admiration for him only grew.

I have a degree in American history and Trump is without question one of the most important politicians in our 249 years. No question. Period.
So here I am. This is who I am, warts and all.
It's nice to find a place where we can be pretty freewheeling and express our views.
For that, I thank the site and all the members here.
Welcome. Hope to be seeing you around.
That was quite an introduction.
Very glad you warmed up to Trump.

Gosh, you're more than welcome. We on the right enjoy the side-splitting laughter you all provide us with policies that don't work, demagogic politicians with the IQ of a ham sandwich and all the cute purple hair and piercings.
You also entertain us by beating up 140 cops in an attempt to steal the office of president of the United States. Was that the MENSA Society? Do any of Trump`s goons have a measurable IQ?

What was the score when immortalizing a dead junkie?

It's always instructive to see just how easily Democrats lie. Repeatedly. Often.
