FEMA directs $110 million to safeguard U.S. houses of worship

Funding all of them now is already "illegal."
Its tricky. You cannot fund religious activities like worshiping or proselytizing but you can fund secular stuff like protection. But if you are only protecting one religion you are in effect proselytizing.

You mean they are going protect them in their homes, simply for being church members? Cool. I could use some more security upgrades here at my house and am a church member of a very large church. The church of course has armed security, as well as me, when I attend (rarely), and of course I am armed. My suit coat is decent concealment over my should holster.

You tout your gun toting bullshit all the time, and if true, it's the only thing even remotely conservative about you. I highly doubt that it's true though. :dunno:

What kind of church?
Christian Church. Ive been one for years including decades of board leadership, creepily called an elder, and taught Sunday school for 3-4th graders for decades.

No, it's not tricky at all. The constitution is not about your slick accounting.

I should have said nuanced vs tricky but regardless I was very clear in my explanation to you. Keep up.

A leftie Christian, the worst kind. Where did Jesus preach to give all of your money to the government and that the government will be the entity that follows His commands?

Yes, I figured Christian. What denomination?

And I assume you believe the following verse for eternal salvation. Correct?

Sure. I'd love to have eternal life and if it is all bogus I just wasted time with people generally doing good. I avoid those super conservative churches that are super hypocritical and focus on the speck in others' eyes while they have a plank in theirs.

I go to non-denominational churches that have modern music and use powerpoint. Suits me better than the Methodist churches I grew up in or the Presbyterian my wife did.

So that's a yes to my question?

Do you even see the irony in what you just said?

Keep up with what? Your nuanced constitution?
Come on man. Why you being a jerk? The constitution is clear about what the government can do which is a secular involvement. For instance its ok for the government to save people in a church from burning to death in a fire but it cant give free electricity to Christian churches though. Its very clear but the involvement is nuanced.

Come on, yourself. The government is giving money specifically earmarked for churches.

Zero. 50% of Christian church members are ******* another person that isnt their spouse and they worry about the 1% that are sleeping with the same gender in a committed relationship. Screw those useless Christians. i got my bet on Jesus being pissed at them over it. I know this since:

The parable of the Sheep and the Goats (Matthew 25:31–46)

"Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me"

That would be wrong. It cant and would be illegal. If it did it for all churches over 500 members or something they might could swing it. Not sure. I know how you presented it would be illegal.

lol You quote scripture and speak of hypocrisy, and yet you commit the plank-in-your-eye folly that Jesus counseled against. Even worse, you think it's connected to politics.

Leftie Christians think using their government to fleece everyone else is them following the words of Christ to help the least. Guess they'll find out how wrong they are someday.
