lolHey I'm not an old ass fat cat...wait Hey I'm not a cat!
I go to church weekly. If i had the choice to have funding for school security vs my church it is a no brainer. My church is a bunch of old folks, some middle aged, and a very few young.

Sledge lives! You mean they are going protect them in their homes, simply for being church members? Cool. I could use some more security upgrades here at my house and am a church member of a very large church. The church of course has armed security, as well as me, when I attend (rarely), and of course I am armed. My suit coat is decent concealment over my should holster.
Right wing shooters are everywhere but quite frankly, gun laws and mental health spending wont fix this. Only fix is people with guns at schools to deter crazy people with guns shooting kids. It sucks we live in a gun violent culture but that is apparently what passes as conservative. Killing kids at school. The recently dead guy said it was worth it for them to die.I am all for armed guards providing security at schools
Especially with the recent uptick in shootings by radicalized leftist at universitie, and in private schools like in Nashville and MN
You left out mosques.Churches make a fortune, tax free, providing very good lifestyle to their hierarchy. So, now, not only a tax break, but free security money from taxes they don't pay, as if they were being government funded?
W we know you bought into it.Bocaue more guns = more shootings.
It's pretty simple.
This is for all the cowards who sit and cower in fear. Congrats on invoking government to spend more of your money.
And in case you think your religion is special, think again.
FEMA directs $110 million to safeguard U.S. houses of worship
The United States’ Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced a $110 million boost to fortify security at more than 600 faith-based institutions—churches, synagogues, mosques, temples—and nonprofit centers nationwide. These enhancements, funded through FEMA’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program, enable upgrades like surveillance cameras, access control systems, lighting, gates, alert systems, and staff training. A diverse range of Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and Sikh organizations stand to benefit.

The charging stations were part of the 2005 Energy Policy Act
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct 2005) was a U.S. law that provided a wide range of energy policy changes, including tax incentives for energy production and conservation, and promoted renewable energy development and energy efficiency. Key provisions included increasing the required amount of biofuels in gasoline, providing tax credits for energy efficiency home improvements and hybrid vehicles, and offering loan guarantees for innovative energy technologies like advanced nuclear reactors and clean coal.
They do tend to be both less fatal and less frequent, wouldn't you say?Would you prefer knives and more stabbings?
And then you just made the initiative 100% illegal. Government cannot establish or promote any religion over another. They'd have to fund all religious institutions equally.I don't believe the government should give dime one to any mosque for security. It needs to be driven out of the country before the nation ends up like Europe, under Islam's thumb.
Most of the churches around here, do quite well. I predict more will go to churches like Bell View, outside of Memphis (known locally as 6 Flags over Jesus) than to 70 member congregations with a circuit preacher coming twice a month, that I grew up in. Churches are now very big business.
