‘A federal judge in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday struck down President Trump's executive order targeting D.C.-based law firm WilmerHale, declaring the order "unconstitutional" and permanently blocking the administration from enforcing it.

U.S. District Judge Richard Leon issued his opinion Tuesday afternoon, blocking the president's efforts to restrict Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP as a part of the Trump administration's crusade against large law firms that have provoked the ire of the president and his allies.

"For the reasons set forth below, I have concluded that this order must be struck down in its entirety as unconstitutional," Leon wrote in the beginning of his order. "Indeed, to rule otherwise would be unfaithful to the judgment and vision of the Founding Fathers!"

WilmerHale is the law firm where Robert Mueller worked both before and after he was special counsel. Mr. Trump's executive order urges agencies to take steps to suspend the security clearances of WilmerHale employees, terminate contracts with the law firm and limit federal employees from engaging with WilmerHale employees, among other things. WilmerHale sued the administration, arguing the president's executive order violates the First, Fifth and Sixth Amendments, as well as the Constitution's separation of powers clause.’

Very good.

Of course, Trump has nothing but contempt for the First, Fifth, and Sixth Amendments, as well as the Constitution's separation of powers clause.

Attempting to use the authority of the presidency to attack perceived political opponents is the epitome of despotic authoritarianism – Trump is a fascist thug.

Law firms target people, then expect no consequences. LOL The Founders, they would be appalled at the judge.

They can forget any work under 47, and forget security clearances. Only the President ultimately controls security clearances, no dimwit judge does.

You Demorats are simply pathetic. Trump is attacked with bogus impeachments and other lawfare against him and you complain??? You have no room to complain. This will go to the Supreme Court and be overturned. Pathetic complains of the very same things you did to him.

A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that President Trump’s attempt to punish an elite law firm associated with his political opposition was unconstitutional and directed the government not to enforce an order Mr. Trump signed in March that had threatened its business.

Siding with WilmerHale, which had sued to block the president’s order, Judge Richard J. Leon of the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia wrote that Mr. Trump appeared intent on coercing the firm, imposing “a kitchen sink of severe sanctions” to drive it to the bargaining table.

The ruling marked the third straight win for the handful of law firms that opted to fight the White House even as several of their peers caved to a pressure campaign and made deals with Mr. Trump to avoid persecution. Judges have already rejected similarly punitive executive orders aimed at the firms Perkins Coie and Jenner & Block, and lawyers representing Susman Godfrey asked a fourth judge earlier this month to issue a final decision in their case.

47 keeps losing in the court because what he is doing is illegal and/or Unconstitutional. People detained have the Right Process. He attacked a law firm represented individuals who needed to be defended against 47. Being against the political beliefs of 47 or defending people against the actions of 47 is NOT against the law.

So much losing.

Dupe....Another leftist beat you like a rented mule.
