Federal Judge Says Federal Databases Cannot be Used by the Federal Government

It is not a Constitional function of the federal government to police state/national elections. Texas and Alaska (two red states) have complied with the unconstitutional Trump EO. And to quote the judge.....

"The agencies were scrambling to comply with an Executive Order aimed at reshaping federal elections, which directed them to create a system for mass voter verification," she wrote. 'So they haphazardly combined and repurposed the private information of millions of Americans, including citizenship data that they knew to be unreliable. Since then, states have partnered with the federal government to access the database and are actively removing United States citizens from voter rolls based on inaccurate information."

You failed to answer her question.

Why are you for ineligible people voting in our elections?

A secretive digital attack against US citizens and the American ballot box by the Trump regime, which intended to purge state voter rolls using private and oftentimes unreliable data.
The Social Security Act has protections against using the number.

They should use facial recognition for everything and be done with all this cheating bullshit. Banking, travel security, credit, voting, immigration, crime prevention and enforcement. Who are we kidding, your computer already knows everything about you. Your privacy is just a figment of your imagination. Then, if they could devise an infallible lie detector test, imagine how much unnecessary spending could be avoided on our crooked legal system with our crooked courts. Imaging the fraud that could be prevented. But the people running this country like robbing it, so it will remain the way it is
That will come to pass, indeed it might already be here for those who do alot of airline flying. With "citizens" like yourself, the authoritarian state will have tons of support. Liberty dies to thunderous applause.

There are statutes nearly a hundred years protecting our data that DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT.
The Civil Rights Act of 1960 requires states to provide all voter data to the Attorney General upon request. As with most things, there is a lot of conflicting federal law.

but not the Social Security information.
Federal law trumps state law and the Civil rights Act requires all states to provide any data they have so if the AG wants it and the states have it, then they are legally obligated to provide it. It is an issue that is going to have to be settled by the SCOTUS because this administration is suing all the states that are playing cutesy with the mandate.

Either way, as long as they don't have my cell number in the database to where telemarketers can harass me to death, I don't care if it exists or not. There is no logical reason to say it is okay for experian and Equifax and lord knows who else to have the information that they gladly sell access to, but the federal government can't.

Not another database!

Voting should be limited to only those with Enhanced Driver 's License or Enhanced ID (EDL) which are available only to U.S. citizens. But first all 50 states need to offer these enhanced versions.

They are currently limited to only 5 states, which I reckon is because they also serve as passports to Canada. These states are:
  • Michigan
  • Minnesota
  • New York
  • Vermont
  • Washington
Enhanced Drivers Licenses: What Are They?

Not seeing the issue, if you're on the voters roles and can prove citizenship what's the problem?
If a person is not legally eligible to vote why are you against them being removed from voter roles?

Liberals shuttle people around the county with their never-ending protesting. I wouldn't be surprised if these people are knowingly or unknowingly being registered to in multiple states.

I take it that you don’t know what “voter caging” is.

You just made up the bs about protestors being shuttled around.

Especially as there is no Civil Rights Act of 1960.

The Civil Rights Act of 1960 requires states to provide all voter data to the Attorney General upon request.
For the purpose of determining if there was race-based disenfranchisement.

Trump's EO has the opposite purpose.

Judge blocks Trump administration's overhauled database of Americans' personal information

Washington — A federal judge on Monday ruled the Trump administration acted unlawfully when it created a centralized database that contains Americans' private information, which she said has since been used by some states to incorrectly remove U.S. citizens from their voter rolls.

U.S. District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan in Washington, D.C., sided with a voting rights group and nonprofit that works to protect privacy in finding that the administration violated three different laws with its new system that includes Americans' citizenship data.

"All in all, the federal government has knowingly trampled on the privacy rights of American citizens in a manner that threatens the sacred right to vote," she wrote. "This Court cannot stand idly by while that happens."

The judge set aside the administration's overhaul of a database maintained by the Department of Homeland Security to verify citizenship and immigration status, called the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements, or SAVE, system.

Well, it's happened again.

This case implicates two fundamental rights that protect Americans from government overreach: the right to privacy and the right to vote. In the past year, several federal agencies have joined forces to create a centralized federal database that contains the private information of United States citizens, including Social Security numbers, citizenship status, and other sensitive data. But decades ago, Congress put protections in place to prevent precisely this type of centralized databank. And the record in this case shows that the federal agencies that created this database knew that the database violates those statutory protections.

Even as ICE attacks US citizens, and the DoJ is found to have broken the law in pursuit of trump's politically motivated vendettas, the regime's efforts to corrupt elections has been found to be a legal bridge too far. Along with gerrymandering, attempts to enact even more voter ID laws, and the cancellation of mail-in voting, Don is tirelessly trying to maintain his grip on power by manipulating the electoral process in fundamentally anti-democratic ways.

If the Ststes individually refuse to do it, who else is there to do it, other than the federal government.
