In a Republic, actually
‘“In more than two decades of research on the use of acetaminophen in pregnancy, not a single reputable study has successfully concluded that the use of acetaminophen in any trimester of pregnancy causes neurodevelopmental disorders in children,” Steven Fleischman, president of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), said in a statement Monday.’

This is madness – a reckless, irresponsible ‘administration’ continues to lie to the American people.

Trump on Tuesday further called on parents not to give acetaminophen to their children, but also indicated he wasn’t absolutely convinced.
When asked about about groups like ACOG pushing back on this claim, Trump said, “You know what? Maybe they’re right.”

“I don’t think they are, because I don’t think the facts bare it out at all. They’re fighting for something that, in my opinion, they shouldn’t be fighting for,” he said. “But here’s the thing, there’s no downside to doing — other than a mother will have to, as I say, tough it out a little bit.”
Moron.

There is casual relationship that is defined an an insignificant correlation. We need a good study before we start putting warnings on bottles.

I dunno about any of that stuff, but I've very, very seldom taken it in my adult life just because I do know that acetaminophen is bad for your liver.

One of the best things one can do for themselves is avoid the possibility of inflamation in the body. And diet actually is the best way to manage that, I think.

Inflamation is a root cause of so many human ailments.

Incorrect.

I did a search in Medline and this is the first result:

"Acetaminophen use in childhood was associated with autism spectrum disorder, asthma symptoms, wheezing, and allergic disease."

and...

"However, prenatal acetaminophen was reported to be associated with asthma, lower performance intelligence quotient (IQ), shorter male infant anogenital distance (predicting poor male reproductive potential), autism spectrum disorder, neurodevelopmental problems (gross motor development, communication), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, poorer attention and executive function, and behavioral problems in childhood."

"Our analyses using the Navigation Guide thus support evidence consistent with an association between acetaminophen exposure during pregnancy and increased incidence of NDDs. Appropriate and immediate steps should be taken to advise pregnant women to limit acetaminophen consumption to protect their offspring's neurodevelopment."

You mean Dear Leader may be irresponsible?

I'm shocked. Shocked.

Sure. Increased ice cream sales are associated with increased risk of drowning.

"Longer duration of use (i.e., use for >20 weeks in gestation) increased the risk of ASD or infantile autism with hyperkinetic symptoms almost twofold. My son is an ER doctor. He says its totally unfounded. However, the government's nonsense declaration will impact healthcare because hospitals are now concerned about lawsuits stemming from not following this "made-up non-science" as he put it. Most of you are INCEL men with no wife or kids but those of us with a family can tell you that this will hurt people.

This all stems from Trump's son Barron likely being on the spectrum and Trump looking to blame someone other than his gene pool. Ridiculous.
