What are your Favorite Foreign Language Films?

I enjoy watching Foreign Language films. They seem very different than American Films and I find that refreshing. It seems American Films all follow similar formats... but some Foreign films are very different from the conventions of American Cinema and that's what I like so much about them.

My favorites:

1) The Bicycle Thieves

2) Breathless

3) Rashomon

4) La Dolce Vita

5) Aquirre The Wrath of God

Almost all of the French New Wave. Love it so much

Three really good ones I loved and would recommend were:

Ringu
7 Blood Stained Orchids
Death Walks at Midnight

Ringu was probably one of the better horror films I have seen in a long time.
