The FISA Court just came out publicly to deliver an unprecedented rebuke of Obama's former US AG, former FBI Director Comey, former Deputy FBI Director McCabe, and others in now undeniable FISA Court abuses they committed, officially confirming these individuals committed crimes, violated the Constitution, trampled US citizens' rights, and endangered our national security, as the Court's existence and continued operation is now in jeopardy.

The Court gave a deadline to the agency that committed these historic crimes for them to come up with a plan showing how they will prevent them from repeating these crimes in the future.

By issuing the FBI such a deadline, what the FISA Court is telling the FBI - and all of us - is that they, the court, is STILL AT THE MERCY OF THE FBI, having to rely on the FBI to come up with its own punishment, present a plan to to make sure this never happens again, and then TRUST the FBI to adhere to this plan.

NO F*ING WAY! THIS CAN NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND!

Has the FISA Court already forgotten how it called Comey's mentor - then FBI Director Robert Mueller - before the court to answer for multiple FISA Court violations?

The American people have not forgotten!

Now Comey and HIS / Obama's FBI has been exposed for committing the sane crimes, for also violating the Constitution, for teaming citizens' rights, and for endangering our national security!

The same corrupt agencies have committed the sane crimes and betrayal of trust - a repeated process...and the Court is asking the criminals for a plan to ensure they will not commit the sane crimes in the future.

The FISA Court exposed the fact that the criminals have endangered our national security, putting the FISA Court's existence in jeopardy...AS IT SHOULD BE.

The FISA Court declared that until their deadline it will operate the same as it has.

This is UNACCEPTABLE.

The Court just exposed the FISA Court abuses, declared they now doubt the validity of EVERY warrant the FBI has and will submit until they hear its plan to hold itself accountable, but that it will still operate the same until then.

Oh, HELL NO!

The FISA Court should immediately be shut down.

EVERY warrant request submitted and signed off on by Rosenstein, Comey, McCabe, and their FBI should be investigated for abuse.

Until these crimes and abuse have been thoroughly investigated, corrections to abuses found have been made, and procedures have been put into place to ensure the Court is never abused / manipulated politically like this again the FISA Court should be shut down.

FBI Director Ray should immediately be replaced, along with all the top FBI Leadership, after Ray made light of the FISA Court Abuses and FBI corruption and exposed crimes.

Someone from outside the agency should be appointed to take over.

An independent agency should be brought in to investigate the FBI internally instead of allowing the FBI to 'police' itself, and the plan for ensuring the FBI does not commit these crimes again should not come from the criminal who have repeatedly abused the FISA Court under Mueller and Comey (if not by others).

While true the house and senate committees have been asleep at the wheel for more than a decade and that is a problem

Page was talking to Russian Spies, and that is why he got a few FISA warrants on him. Let him sue, like he said he would.

Page was talking to Russian Spies...
No Shit!

As I pointed out, the FISA Court Abuse report and FISA Court itself has acknowledge the FACT that Page was an official INTEL SOURCE reporting on the Russians, so OF COURSE he was talking to the Russians.

This is one of the facts the FBI withheld from the FISA Court so they coulfd get their warrants to spy on Page!

If it is a crime to falsify a FISA application then someone in the DOJ should go to jail

Otherwise, abolish the court

Page was working for the CIA and his job was to surveil Russian spies. The FISA warrants were based upon lies.

It is a damn shame your god just renewed it and hired a AG that cut his teeth on illegal surveillance and defending abuse by the highest levels of the Fed Govt.

TOO DAMN LATE: FISA COURT SPEAKS, BUT NOT TO THE POINT

FISA court presiding judge Rosemary Collyer issued her order rebuking the FBI earlier this week, prompting questions of where the hell has the Court been? judges read the news. Like so many involved in the Russia hoax, Judge Collyer gave every appearance of having tumbled only lately to the misconduct committed before her court, courtesy of the Department of Justice Inspector General report issued last week.

What sanctions the court would administer to the FBI officers and Department of Justice lawyers who swore out the FISA applications had been verified? NONE!

The court played a starring role in the wrongdoing it authorized to spy on Carter Page and the Trump campaign.

The FISA court owes The Nation answers.

On Feb. 7, 2018, Devin Nunes, then chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, sent a letter to Judge Collyer informing her of its findings in his probe of the FBI’s Page application. He wrote that

“the Committee found that the FBI and DOJ failed to disclose the specific political actors paying for uncorroborated information” that went to the court, “misled the FISC regarding dissemination of this information,” and “failed to correct these errors in the subsequent renewals.”
Mr. Nunes asked the court whether any transcripts of FISC hearings about this application existed, and if so, to provide them to the committee.
Still a smart ass at the time, Judge Collyer responded a week later, with a dismissive letter that addressed only the last request. The judge observed that any such transcripts would be classified, that the court doesn’t maintain a “systematic record” of proceedings and that, given “separation of power considerations,” Mr. Nunes would be better off asking the Justice Department. The letter makes no reference to the Intelligence Committee findings.

Mr. Nunes tried again in a June 13, 2018, follow-up letter. He told the court that Congress “uncovered evidence that DOJ and FBI provided incomplete and potentially incorrect information to the Court,” and that “significant relevant information was not disclosed to the Court.” This was Mr. Nunes telling FISC exactly what Inspector General Michael Horowitz told the world—18 months sooner. Mr. Nunes asked Judge Collyer to “initiate a thorough investigation.” To assist her, the same month he separately sent FISC “a classified summary of Congress’s findings and facts” to that point. The letter was signed by all 13 Republican members of the Intelligence Committee.

Unlike the now chagrined Judge Collyer, she blew him off. Her letter on June 15, 2018, is four lines long. She informs Mr. Nunes she’s received his letter. She says she’s also received his classified information. She says she’s instructing staff to provide his info to “the judges who ruled on the referenced matters.” She thanks him for his “interest” in the court.

It is past time for the FISA court to speak up and account for itself. The court’s order this week falls for short of such an accounting. Putting other policy-related issues to one side, absent such an accounting, the court ought to be dissolved and soon.

The FISA Court trusting the people who abused the FISA Court in the largest scandal and Constitutional abuse in US history to police itself and come up with a plan to show it will never do so again then police themselves to make sure they stick to that plan....

Is like the wife of a continuous wife beater trusting him to come up with a plan to prove he will never hit her again...then police himself to make sure he sticks to his plan.

In the REAL world where common sense / reality / sanity reins, there would be no way the Congress of the United States would allow the abusers to 'police themselves' & no way the FISA Court would be allowed to function until safeguards are imposed.

The House, though, is run by the Democrats who participated in the criminal coup attempt, & the Senate is run by politicians who hid their sexual misconduct & paid for the silence of their victims with our tax dollars for decades before allowing them to walk free without punishment after the whole thing was exposed....

....sigh.

No 'Checks & Balances' exist to 'police' Congress. Their demand to 'police themselves' has continuously failed and needs to end immediately. The only problem is THEY are the ones to decide whether it ends or not. Call me crazy, but Congress will never give up the power to decide their own fates, never give up their own oversight that elevates them to being above the law.
