1. Name a socialist nation. You can't use the Scandinavian nations as an example, as their foreign ministers have come out and publicly said that they are "not" socialist nations, but free-market capitalist nations with "some" social programs and the middle class is taxed the heaviest as to tax the highest earners would stifle innovation.
2. Karl Marx said he was a socialist but quickly converted to communism and wrote the "Communist Manifesto."
3. Under Democratic Socialism (aka Communism), you no longer have a Bill of Rights. The government rules you with the gun. They choose the job you have. They choose the doctor you will have and you wait months for appointments, most likely with a doctor you won't like, as they aren't that good.
4. Under Socialism the government takes control of the food production and ever time that happens, millions and millions die of starvation as they try to figure it out.
The old Soviet Union, North Korea, China and Venezuela are good examples where millions died because of bureaucratic stupidity and inefficiency.
5. Under Socialism, you don't have your own house. All residences belong to the government and they determine who and how many live in a residence and those residences are no longer individual houses, but low-income housing.
6. Under Socialism those that peddle it brag that they will eliminate "class structure." This is true. Gone are the middle class and gone are the wealthy (with the exception of those in the inner politburo). All that remains are the low income public, scraping by.
7. Capitalism has been the greatest creator of wealth and a middle-class in contrast to all other types of governments.
