Fans Outraged by Performance of 'Black National Anthem' Before Super Bowl LX
Super Bowl LX fans criticized the NFL after singer Coco Jones sang the "Black National Anthem" before the game.
A "black national anthem" implies a national identity in blackness. Such a thing cannot coexist with a national identity of an American citizen, unless the black nation identity subordinates itself to the American national identity. This is the real and serious issue here. Now, for something less serious.
I wonder, what would be a good White National Anthem? There are so many good choices, I humbly suggest that the White National Anthem be done on a rotating schedule, which each getting to preside as White National Anthem for 1-year. Here is my list:
1. "Mule Skinner Blues", Bill Monroe
2. "The Coon Hunters", Johnny Rebel
3. "Kashmir", Led Zeppelin
4. "The End Complete", Obituary
5. "My Long Hair Just Can't Coverup My Red Neck", David Allen Coe
It is not that we, White People, do not care about, or value, the blacks. Hell, we gave you an entire month to celebrate, AND we put MLK day in a SEPARATE MONTH so you don't feel cheated. We even still let you have that Kwanza thing. We gave you equal rights to us, and preferences to help you get a footing in our world. Honestly, there really is nothing more to be done at this point.
But, that you feel you need a song to solidify your identity as black ... at this point in your social evolution .... really seems a little immature, if I may speaking openly and honestly here. No, I do not feel threatened by it. I don't care about it. But, I care about YOU. And I am going to lay some truth down on you that will help you: You need to drop this black vs. white shit and assimilate into American society, which includes you, other minorities, and, yes, a plurality of whites (composing a population in a country which was created by white Europeans). That is just the way it is. There are more whites here than any other group based upon skin color, for whatever the **** THAT means in today's world.
Blacks could have it SO MUCH BETTER if you would just join us. Hell, we are welcoming you with open arms. You just won't come to us, though. Why? I'll tell you why: the left is keeping you filled with hatred and division based upon slavery, which ended over 150 years ago, and which YOU had no part in. It is RIDICULOUS. The only thing holding you back today is yourselves.
I hope you see the light one day and become Americans in spirit and identity rather than just legally. But until you do, you are doomed.
I hope this helps some of you!
