Looks like the idiot stood up on his seat and leaned over the railing bending down to hold the rail, lost control and flipped over it.

He was a fan at a Pirates game so yeah, he must have been very drunk.

No one goes to a Pirates game sober.

No one else has ever fell over. You mean higher up so that it blocked people's view of the game? They will probably add a sign somewhere saying that standing on seats is not allowed and may result in drunk idiots falling over the edge, for which they are not responsible.

He's lucky to be alive. Remember the father at the Rangers game who reached out to catch a ball thrown to him and went over the rail, his fall was around 20 feet, his young son was right next to him. He was not attempting to catch a foul ball, the ball was thrown to him by a player.

No one else has ever fell over.

Maybe not at that venue. It has happened elsewhere though. Some of these safety rails that I see at stadiums and other places aren't high enough for tall people. It's like a fence that is only a tad higher than your knee.

I was watching the game, apparently he got so excited he took off his shirt and threw beer on himself and lost his footing, long fall but he's young and a pretty big dude and he did not get really seriously injured from what I read.......somehow
