Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), alleged champion of equal pay, has some explaining to do.

According to The Washington Free Beacon:

...women working for [Senator] Warren were paid just 71 cents for every dollar paid to men during the 2016 fiscal year...The median annual earnings for women staffers, $52,750, was more than $20,000 less than the median annual earnings for men, $73,750, according to the analysis of publicly available Senate data.

When calculated using average salaries rather than median, the pay gap expands to just over $26,051, or about 31 percent.
Give us the complete stats....show that a woman with the same job and the same experience is being paid less than a man. That's how the civil service works. If you can show that a woman with equivalent experience and Time in Service is being paid less, you've got a case.

Warren broadly endorsed the group's recommended policy solutions, including efforts to raise the minimum wage, increase pay transparency, and codify equal pay into the law. "What really chaps me about this one is that we have had a real fight on our hands to try to get through Barbara Mikulski's Paycheck Fairness Act," Warren said, referring to a bill introduced by the Maryland Democrat that would make it illegal for companies to pay men and women different amounts for the same work and would allow employees to share wages without fear of retaliation. The real reason they did not compare the two was because Mindy Myers' yearly salary was $128,506 and Dan Geldon's yearly salary was $91,976. Meyers worked 4 years and 9 months and Geldon who followed her worked 3 years and 2 months, so clearly there was enough data to make an honest comparison between the two yearly salaries for the exact same job!!!!!

Nope...sorry. If we are measuring the same way that those complaining about Warren's staff are measuring, then the clear answer is that women in the military are paid less than men.

However, that can be said BECAUSE there are MORE MEN in senior positions. There are MORE MEN with longer TIS (Time in Service) than women.....and that's how RussianWrs who are falling for this thread are measuring Warren's staff.
