And?
Does this surprise anybody?

Perhaps we should start by banning the worst polluters, except for military and limited commercial use, by just grounding all private and most of the commercial jets in existence.

I think replacing Airforce One with a Gulfstream G550 or something similar would be in order also.

The fossil fuel industries have done their best to suppress and obscure the actual science of global warming. Too many of you have been led astray to become their useful idiots.

You are so ludicrously imbecilic, there is no such thing as "GW," its all a scam that they succeeded in slamming into your intellectually murdered mind, you are a textbook example of an "intellectual abortion," walking, talking, and dead from the neck on up!

You're on target by suggesting lifestyle changes are the answer. But you should also know that isn't appreciated by your side of the politics.l
You should try to walk that back.

Rhetorically speaking, don't carry your frustrations from one topic to another.
I'm not. It's a fair question. Why would anyone living in Canada want the planet to be colder when the planet is a mere 2C away from extensive continental glaciation in the northern hemisphere which would bury all of Canada below thousands of feet of ice.

Good there is too much land where you can't grow crops and cattle can't graze. Get rid of that ice!!!!!!!!!!

Not really. Though noble and not insignificant, by itself,it’s not worth while. For example, if everyone decided no to fly, that would account for just 3% of the total emissions of CO2 by the United States. Nope, it’s a technology and political problem. If you wake up tomorrow and find all your electricity is suddenly made from renewables, you would not have to change a thing personally.

if we all had just EVs to drive, you would not make any sacrifices at all, other then getting to know the neighbor hood mechanic and pay college tuition for his kids. EVs are totally innocuous. It’s just about technology and politics. Now lots of car dealerships would fold over night and the car industry might be taken over by the big box appliance stores.
Why ? Because they are practically maintenance free other then repairs from accidents and miss use and stuff you can do yourself, like a clothes dryer.
