Exit Polls Show that Large Majority of Americans Support at Least Some Restrictions on Abortion

Over 22,000 voters participated in the exit polls. This makes them a far more reliable picture of voters’ views than regular opinion polls (which typically only survey 700 to 1,500 people). I'm using the exit polling results reported by ABC, NBC, and CNN.

65% of respondents said abortion should be illegal in at least some cases. Only 32% said abortion should be legal in all cases.

Some other interesting facts from the exit polls:

• Among voters who hold an associate’s degree or who attended college but did not graduate, Trump won 53% to Harris’s 44%.
• Among voters with an income between $30K and $99K, Trump won 52% to Harris’s 45.5%.
• Trump won 13% of the LGBTQ vote.
• Among first-time voters, Trump solidly beat Harris 56% to 43%.

Did Roe v Wade give women the right to have an abortion at any point and for any reason? Some blue states have passed laws that give them this right. What’s next, blue states will pass laws that allow for stealing to be legal or to provide sanctuary to people who have broken federal immigration law by crossing the border illegally?

Some of the liberals in far-left Montgomery County proposed a law that allowed mothers to kill their babies during the first 30 days of life, no questions asked. The way the proposal was worded was “if a newborn 30 days or less dies, there is to be no investigation or charges related to its death.” Effectively carte Blanche to murder a living infant.

Fortunately, humane heads prevailed and the measure was killed. Instead of a baby.
