I think we want to go to Mars, set up a base there and launch ships from Mars. Closer and better gravity for taking off? Much closer to the meteor belt which we can use it's natural resources to find water (comets) and iron/steal to make moon sized ships. Why rape earth to make these ships? And perhaps one day if/when we run out of natural resources here on earth, we'll get what we need from outer space.

The closest extrasolar planets overall to Earth are Proxima Centauri b, c, and d, each located 4.22 light years away. Proxima b is the closest potentially habitable planet to Earth.

There are plenty of ideas on how to boost a ship up to speed. Fusion, antimatter, beamed propulsion, so on.

If we could use lasers, wind sails, or other technologies, we could potentially reduce the travel time.

But by how much? This is why I don't believe aliens have visited earth.

I do love Clif High on this general subject .
He bases most of his work on the oldest recorded writings , art work , chiselled rock pictures , myth , legends ( the oral tradition ) plus separate work with Dick Allgire's Remote Viewers .
He takes off , as it were , from where Sitchin finished .

In essence he believes we did go there and were warned off from further "interference".
He believes the last visiting race were the Elohim/ Anunnaki who towed the moon to its present location as a vital factor in their experimental work .
He is not convinced that the Elohim are permanently in the Moon themselves but have left" Greys" in nominal charge as robots/ hybrids /zoo keepers / Laboratory maintenance etc .

Clif has the highest IQ I have ever run across and is very down to earth , so he is always absorbing to listen to .Plus an amazing fund of related and other information ,
And once you see his support details for his assertions it is very difficult to sanely disagree with his overall narrative and position.

IDK what is going on in that picture but it doesn't look legit. I took a picture of me sitting in the drivers seat of my son's car once. It shocked me when I saw myself sitting in it. Interesting you bring the Father of the Universe into this conversation. In our believe, by instructions from Elohim (Father), one of His spirit children of billions or trillion, Jehovah, was charged to organize the universe from the matter not yet formed. Along with the Arc Angel, Michael, Jehovah carried out Elohim's Plan. This earth and others, were constructed to give the rest of His spirit children a place in which through faith in their Savior, Jesus Christ (Jehovah) could come and be tested concerning their faith.
