America doesn't have enough jails to deal with minor crimes of this nature.

The old man obviously said something to piss off the fb player.
No bullets, no big deal!
Most fb players will already be completely motivated to solving issues through violence already. Like the shooters, they can't be re-educated in midstream.

With the victim being 82 years old, bullets may not even be necessary. A bad enough blow to the head because of another person's actions could be enough to take out a person of such an old age or any age.
