According to a Wednesday report, President Barack H. Obama’s administration teamed up with intelligence agencies in the United Kingdom to spy on now-President Donald J. Trump’s campaign.

“[Former CIA Analyst Larry] Johnson said there is a cooperation agreement between the intelligence services of the U.S., U.K., Canada, New Zealand, and Australia – the so-called Five Eyes club – that allowed Obama to access surveillance of U.S. citizens as foreign-gathered intelligence,” according to OANN reporter Neil W. McCabe, who interviewed Johnson.

McCabe described the tactic as a way of circumventing Americans’ Fourth Amendment rights to unreasonable searches and seizures, or broadly, the right to privacy.

“We know that specifically from a Department of Defense official under Obama named Evelyn Farkas,” Johnson said in his interview with McCabe.

Farkas admitted to such intelligence gathering in an MSNBC interview shortly after the Trump administration took office.

“One clear example of the U.K. surveillance was the monitoring of Trump campaign volunteer George Papadopoulos,” McCabe said.

“How did George Papadopoulos come to the attention of both law enforcement and intelligence sources?” Johnson said. “When you look at his story you begin to realize his first communications from U.K. to the United States – they were emails, and one or two phone calls if I recall correctly. Those were intercepted – absolutely they were intercepted by the United Kingdom through its General Communications Headquarters, and then information was passed back to the United States through intel channels.”

McCabe also dropped another bombshell in his report.

“Fifteen minutes after President Donald Trump took office, Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice used her White House account to send an email to herself about the surveillance of the Trump campaign that read in part that President Barack Obama stressed quote ‘his commitment to ensuring every aspect of this issue, handled by the intelligence and law enforcement communities was by the book,'” he said.

Trump Tweeted about the report this morning.

“‘Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson accuses United Kingdom Intelligence of helping Obama Administration Spy on the 2016 Trump Presidential Campaign.’ @OANN WOW! It is now just a question of time before the truth comes out, and when it does, it will be a beauty!” he said.

Collusion by someone who will never be prosecuted for it because of his protective pigmentation.....But I think the big deal here is that President Trump just publicly outed and accused the British government of spying on him.

So the House should subpoena Larry Johnson. I have no idea who he is, but his claim should be investigated. Just don't ask me to take Trump's word for anything.

Does anyone trust the FBI to properly investigate potential crimes committed by Democrats? I don't. As far as I can tell, Director Wray is another leftist hack. Our nation's agencies are dominated by officials whose loyalty is NOT to the constitution nor to truth nor to average Americans, but rather, the Democratic Party.
