WCSC Tarrant cop says showing kindness to a shoplifter was the right thing to do

A bystander was recording. ..hoping for a "gotcha" contraversy video of course. But instead saw a cop encounter a hungry and struggling shoplifter who was trying to feed her kids. Instead...he paid for the food. And said just repay him by not stealing again.

Funny...these videos are rarely reported but happen every day.

Thank you for sharing this. If only more stories like this one were shared. From time to time I have wondered why people would much rather know about this world's downside. Yeah its important to be well aware of how bad it really is if a person's own safety and security means anything to them, but how can such repetitiveness not get to a person sometimes?
