Every "green" movement is designed to allow the elites to virtue-signal (and cash in) while forcing the poor and middle class to suffer.

Am I on your ignore list now? ... please please please ... it would make my mother so proud if you put me on your ignore list ...

It's windy in North Dakota ... HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW ...

No bitch, you don't get to "re-label" conservatism when the shit doesn't work and claim it isn't "real conservatism" -- you morons have a long history of doing that....

Change my mind.

Just yesterday Texas's ERCOT issued a warning to conserve electricity because wind generation was coming in at only 10%.

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) has issued a Conservation Appeal asking Texans and Texas businesses to voluntarily conserve electricity today, July 11, between 2-8 p.m. CT. ERCOT also issued a Watch for a projected reserve capacity shortage from 2-8 p.m. CT. At this time, ERCOT does not expect system-wide outages. Factors driving the need for this important action by customers include (i) record high electric demand, and (ii) wind generation coming in at less than 10% of its capacity.
The drop in wind generation output is simply from a lack of wind. Nothing has gone WRONG with Texas' wind power facilities. I might try to change your mind if you'd actually presented some opinion or conclusion that could be argued, but you seem to have left that part off your message that would involve you performing some exercise of your intellect.

So it would be an exercise of the intellect to assume that windmills are inefficient, unreliable, and downright idiotic, as a viable source of power?

Ok.

Ok.
Nothing has indicated that any of that is true. The world's power companies are supplying enormous amount of power via wind generation and making large sums of money doing so.

Wind and solar only produced a measly 10% of the world's electricity in 2021. That's hardly "enormous." :laughing0301:

If you just want to throw a hissy fit -- then say that.....scream your lil sassy heart out.....

"A Plague on Both Their Houses" Actually Refers to Only One House

The reality is that the spoiled and demanding sons of the Right Wing rich become Lefty loons. Their Daddies buy the love of the brats with these Trustfundie Treehugger projects.

I for one am glad Texas is on its own grid. I wouldn't want it any other way. The state is rich in natural gas.

Hydro's renewable ... the hydro I get is from the government ... so instead of corporate profits, we see cheaper electric rates ... damn that socialism ... now I have a big pile of money I keep stubbing my lower body against ...
