I am an old fossil, but I always have remembered that "all" hospitals in the United States, are required "by law." to stabilize any person coming into any Emergency Room with life threatening or serious conditions. It doesn't matter if they are a citizen or not. If you are here illegally, you will be treated for your broken bone or severe laceration, et cetera.
