Just random question: WHY nations and cultures have cars have drivers positions opposite the side of the road they drive on? Dosen't it make sense that you have a right hand drive, you drive on the right hand side of the road, or vise versa?

It's a stupid question: Why do we drive on the opposite side of the driver/operator ? It makes ZERO sense.
