The time to take Hitler out was before he took over most of Europe, not after. Same with Iran. You don't wait until they are an "imminent" threat, you do it before they become an imminent threat.

Just think, if we could have predicted what Hitler would become, he could have been defeated as a child with a mere pillow over the face. Now imagine knowing that but refusing to because it was "immoral to murder little kids" then waiting until Hitler was an imminent threat sitting a half step from global domination.
