Mexico and China are basically slave labor nations. They have little regulation protections for workers, they keep their currency low and they maintain low employment negotiation while they are paid wages that barely allow them to eat and find shelter.

Is this really the standard that the world should be pursuing and rewarding? Let them compete on merit, not via smoke and mirrors. I am fine with moving high tech jobs to Japan, Germany or elsewhere if they have a specific skillset and it gives them access to that market, don't tell me paying some near slave $4 an hour and selling it into the U.S is "great for the economy".

Again, with such demands for manufacturing in these nations the dollars should be higher in value, employee wages should have increased dramatically. This issue, by the way, is an issue Trump is fighting for in NAFTA. He is demanding Mexican wages increase in order to avoid tariffs, of course, Mexico is balking.
