What initially got my attention to Trump, back in 2016, was his strong language on the issues of Trade and Immigration.

The rest of the pack, in the primaries, were a mix of people, who at best talked some shit, but really had records of being part of the Conventional Wisdom of these issues needing to be managed as part of America's decline.

ie the Jobs would never come back, and whites were past their point of being able to win elections, no more votes to be found there.

Trump was the only one looking to resist the "tide of history" and try for an American Renaissance.

When we saw how strongly the GOP leadership resisted him, to the point of working with ******* HILLARY CLINTON, to try to stop Trump...

And how hysterical and illlegal the reactions of the dem leadership was also...

That was what convinced me he was a true outsider, who might take on the Deep State for real. Indeed, that behavior was what convinced me that the deep state WAS REAL.

So, that's how I ended up here, not based on anything Trump said or did, but on the reaction to him from the Political Class and the government.
