It appears OPEC may no longer rule the world's energy markets as companies south of us want to unite to determine their market strategies. Chile is already reported to be considering massive national gas facilities that could make a huge impact on its economy. We also know about Mexico's efforts to revise its state-owned PEMEX. OCPEC? The Organization of Communist Petroleum Exporting Countries?

Two problems;

1) They have fucked up their domestic oil industries so much that they have nothing left to export.

2) Russia tried this model in the 1980s, and look at what that brought about.
