The reporter called the robber a “thug” and rightly so. Robbing a store at gunpoint is a behavior associated with thugs.

I guess the reporter felt more comfortable referring to a robber as a thug since the suspect is white and she wouldn’t be accused of being racist.

He pulled a gun out of his pocket. Turns out that it was just a realistic looking BB gun, not a firearm.

I don't know if it matters whether or not it was a real firearm in Minnesota.

A local news report that was uploaded to YouTube. In the surveillance video you can see him pull a gun out of the right pocket of his Amazon jacket. They reported that the police caught him later and it was just a BB gun.

I don't know if he actually worked at Amazon or if he stole the Amazon jacket or what. They didn't say. Who knows, perhaps he also robbed an Amazon driver.
