Eight states with complete Republican disenfranchisement

21 Aug 2025 ~~ By M. Walter

In case anyone had any doubt where this gerrymandering fight is going:

And here’s California Democrat Rep. Zoe Lofgren with absolutely no shame, confirming that wholesale Republican voter disenfranchisement is exactly where the party is going:

Eight blue states have zero Republican representation. Zero. That’s fully 16% of our 50 states with no Republican voice on the House side of the Hill. Sixteen percent. When you think about what our great patriots, our forefathers fought for: the blood, the sacrifice, for the all-consuming cause of freedom, this is an obscenity. An affront to Liberty.
~Snip~
How is this in any way “saving democracy”?
Taxation without representation” launched this country. At least eight states may find themselves ready to hoist boxes into Boston Harbor if this gets much worse — and the “no-Kings” Democrats are once again, threatening to do exactly that: make it much worse.
If they weren’t trying to hurt our great experiment in individual liberty, I swear Democrats would have nothing to do.

Commentary:
The DSA Marxist Democrats response to Texas highly revealing. Such brazen and desperate attempts to rig the elections even further, highlights how little support they truly have. Democrats believe they've been operating on the illusion of majority support for a very long time. It seems to me, their actual base of support somewhere between 20-30% and without gerrymandered districts, bloated rolls, mass mailed ballots, zero security measures, zero oversight/scrutiny and the ability to control the process, Democrats are politically non viable in places most Americans can’t even imagine.
How many states have no Democratic Party representatives?
California has so fixed their election system that they have had Senate races where the two top democrats ran against each other with the republican shut out of the race. That is called Ranked Choice Voting.
Democrats seem to always quote and abide by laws that favor their desires of the moment (meaning those that increase the power of the Democrats) while blatantly ignoring the laws that do not favor them, including the Constitution.
In a State like New York or California my vote doesn’t count, Gerrymandering cancels my vote.
Want six more Democrats in the U.S. Senate? Make Puerto Rico, Alberta, and Saskatchewan States.
Thanks to Andrew Jackson Democrats have a JACKASS as their mascot and emblem. An emblem they aptly deserve.

I don't know if this is true... but I heard a radio report that if all of the red states draw new lines the republicans can pick up 20 seats... Indiana is going first... better be careful Newsom....

It is interesting, that of the 8 states list in the American Stinker article, only one state (New Mexico) is in the top 10 high crime states in the country. In general, do Republicans require a generally larger criminal class of constituents to get elected? Hmmm. Several of those state are among the highest educated in the country, such as Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire. Are you guys having trouble breaking through to the intelligent, educated crowd that can analyze facts from fiction, and just mainly more successful in lessor educated states? You do seem more successful in lowed educated states such and West Virginia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, you know, good RED States. Hmmm. Higher median income seems to be typical for the states on the American Stinker hit list, in general, also, such as Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Hawaii, and Rhode Island. Looks like the states on the American Stinker list typically do well, without you, as they have money and not as easily bought.

Are you sure you have something to offer these states?

I am embarrassed for Abbott that after what Texas democrats pulled, he still came away with no more than the original 5 seats. The least he could have done would have been to get at least 7 seats or more.

So, Texas and Trump starts this mid census redistricting and you're blaming Democrats?

You're in a cult, Doc.... :(

You sound like an arrogant atheist.

I don't recall him blaming anyone.

I did see him pointing out what democrats were saying, but letting you hear what they said.

You seem to be declining in your reasoning, which was limited to begin with.

Are disputing the fact that 8 states don't have any GOP representation?

Really?

You do realize in states that only have a single at-large congressional district it’s literally impossible to gerrymander anything….

Fix the problem; don’t make it worse. AI could take care of it. Trump says it’s the greatest. A simple algorithm that just takes into account population and a mandate for compact districts would do the trick.

And how many of them have like 1 or 2 Congressmen?

Here's the list:

Connecticut - 5 Congressmen
Delaware - 1 Congressawoman
Hawaii - 2 Congressmen
Massachusetts - 9 Congressmen
New Hampshire - 2 Congressmen
New Mexico - 3 Congressmen
Rhode Island - 2 Congressmen
Vermont - 1 Congresswoman

So, two of them have 1, 3 of them have 2 Congressmen. This isn't anything abnormal.

What about Massachusetts? 80% of people voted for Democrats. 10% for Republicans.

If they had PR then Democrats would get 8 of those seats and one seat would be go to Republicans. There's no gerrymandering here, they don't need to.

Connecticut has 5, 58% voted for Democrats and 40% for Republicans. Well, with PR Reps would get two seats. Potential gerrymandering here as the Districts look rather different to the counties.

But how many states have only Republicans?

Alaska - 1
Arkansas - 4
Idaho - 2
Iowa - 4
Montana - 2
Nebraska - 3
North Dakota - 1
Oklahoma - 5
South Dakota - 1
Utah - 4
West Virginia -2
Wyoming - 1

So, 12 Republican states where they win all the House seats.

So well educated, and well off they have to cheat eh?

Sounds like Bullshit to me…You and Mac1958 should stick to trying to convince us all how you’re not Democrats…idiot.

Eight states with complete Republican disenfranchisement

What, they aren't allowed to appear on the electoral roll or vote?

Shameful.

The Demofascists already gerrymandered the states they control. Lying leftards can't acknowledge this simple fact.
One has to give it to MAGAts, they are so often so very wrong but never uncertain.

Proposition 11, a California ballot proposition known as the Voters FIRST Act, was approved by the voters on November 4, 2008. It removed from the California Legislature the responsibility for drawing the state's congressional districts, and gave the responsibility instead to a 14-member Citizens Commission.
