My guess is that Egypt's relatively secular military will soon intervene in what is quickly devolving into a crisis. I think the military may model itself after their Turkish counterparts, and some powerful generals are beginning to contemplate action in the face of civil, constitutional and judicial disorder.

Well, they're planning to go to the Red Sea for a beach vacation. It's a long way from Cairo and much safer now, but I will be concerned (about my son - not the "Czech lawyer from hell" - his mother) if the situation deteriorates.
