Economy added 73,000 jobs in July, as employers grapple with uncertainty

Employment doing what? Assembly line work in factories? For how much an hour? 😂
Robotics will be the big growth industry.
Now robots don't build themselves.

There will also be a need for renewable energy installation manual labor. Solar fields require hundreds of manual laborers. Not talking about rooftop solar.... That industry is just about dead.

Agriculture will become increasingly automated.
So definitely less jobs there.

As you have correctly noted assembly is also gone with the wind. Even the Chinese are automating.

Trump and Republicans are killing all that, and TAXING renewable energy.

Its not a good jobs number but keep in mind Biden dug us in a deep hole with massive debt based government spending and government jobs. As they are fired and new private sector jobs take their place there is going to be low job months as we switch from a debt based economy to wealth based one. Lets wait and see how it goes

Renewable energy is dead we are building nuclear and LNG infrastructure

It's coming anyway although I really think it's a waste of time because ultimately it will all become garbage once fusion becomes commercially viable.

Rooftop solar deserves what it gets. That industry was based on lies from day one.

However the new combined wind and solar farms are definitely making some headway despite the removal of subsidies. They are finally competing in a real sense with conventional.

You could be right... I also believe that it's dead but you're going to see some large-scale utility installations go in before they finally get the message.

Australia is doing something interesting.
They're building roughly 15,000 square miles of facility... both wind and solar not for direct energy usage but to electrolyze hydrogen.

Now that has real possibilities.

You are correct about LNG....
All the gas turbines are sold out until 2028 already.... With hundreds more orders expected to top on those.

3 months is a long enough wait.

Total gibberish.

Not really...
The slow transition from massive public payrolls to private payrolls will definitely be a boost to the revenue.

A lot of talented people who were tied up in parasitic .....No show roles..... Will now have to find gainful employment.

There is another scenario hanging in the wings.
We may have reached that paradigm where we simply don't need as many workers per capita as we once did. If you can replace 150 crop hands with a single combine or an entire Bank counter of tellers with a single ATM machine.... Like it or not we may actually have to look at a universal basic income simply to keep the cogs turning.

The question for the market now is whether a coming Fed cut can compensate for the damage Dotard's tariffs are doing and will do to the economy.
