I find this stuff to be incredibly fascinating. I wish more people cared about science.

Earth is actually made up of two planets

A "violent, head-on collision" created Earth as we know it, ground-breaking new research has revealed. A planetary embryo called Theia, thought to be around the size of Mars or Earth, collided with Earth 4.5 billion years ago when our planet was just 100 million years old.

so that explains them weird LIMEY BRITS

I thought we knew this already. That the impact liquefied part of the Earths mantel, flinging it off into space, and when it cooled and coalesced, it became the Moon. That's how scientists explained how the Earth and the Moon were made of the same mixture of elements.

Moon was made from the Earth, there's no Theia.

Think Michelangelo's David, if you took a chip of the marble would it be 300 million years old?
