Early voting is set to begin Friday across Virginia for an April 21 statewide referendum that could allow the General Assembly to redraw the state’s congressional districts ahead of this fall’s midterm elections. If voters approve, the move would likely reshape the current 6–5 partisan split in Virginia’s delegation into a map favoring Democrats in as many as 10 of the state’s 11 districts.

Any Virginia voters here should get out and vote against it.....Please bring friends.....I plan to.

The ballot question seems deceptive. It states an opinion that extraordinary gerrymandering is "fair." It's downright corrupt...

"Question: Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia's standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?"

The left is already out lying to virginia voters about what is fairness. Virginia voters must be reminded that Democrats do nothing BUT lie. I haven't heard a word out of RNC or any republican refuting the lie by this one fellow who is nameless to me. THey are worthless.

Vote early and vote often like the Democrats always do.

It will be interesting to see how this vote goes.

Virginia voters just elected the "Moderate" Spanberger. Virginia is rapidly becoming the stupidest State in the Union. Right up there with Minnesota and California.

I think we all know what the voters of Virginia will do with this issue. It is a foregone conclusion.

The last time it came up it was voted down by a huge margin, but it was held during November.

This one is a crap shoot.....Freaking March/April.

I sincerely hope for Virginia voters like yourself in goes down. But I will admit I am skeptical.

How so? You don’t believe in fair elections?
Every attempt to ban gerrymandering at the federal level in recent years has been unanimously opposed by and defeated by Republicans. Republicans have now decided mid-decade redistricting is an appropriate political lever, beginning the current redistricting wars.

So **** them.

Yes, they should've made the GOP start eating this shit the moment the GOP blocked banning gerrymandering. But better late than never.

Democrats have been gerrymandering long before Republicans started playing this game…

Do you believe Democrats could win without it?

I saw three prominently placed "vote no" signs while I was out today. That's encouraging, but on the airwaves I only see deceptive Dem ads encouraging voters to "restore fairness."

I am also very troubled by the similarly-biased wording of the ballot question.

Betting markets say it will pass...

But in 2020, 66% of Virginia voters voted to transfer redistricting power from the legislature to a bipartisan redistricting commission, so fingers crossed and voting. The proposed 2026 Amendment would make a one-time cancellation of the existing law.

Republicans are late to the game. Progs have done this for decades. Progs have used ghettos to cheat as an example and there is no shortage of residents who would do it for the cause as they believe they were screwed over. Some of them even go to corrupted churches.
