Can a 12 or 13 year old legally refuse to have their ears pierced ?

I don't know. Who is forcing a chld to get her/his ears pierced? If it is a parent, perhaps it could be considered child abuse and should be reported to the authorities.

To me, it should be the child's decision which is why I hate seeing little babies with rings in their ears when you know that they did not ask for them rings to be there.
