Reddick: really good NFL player. POS as a human being. He's losing $800,000 for EVERY GAME HE MISSES THIS SEASON. He's screwing his new team, the Jets, by not honoring his contract. His agent recently fired him. And to top it all off, he has stiffed a business partner out $1.6 million dollars rightfully owed.

Reddick, 30, was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to New York in March and has failed to show up for Gang Green since. If his holdout lasts through the season, Reddick — whose agent quit this week — stands to lose up to $21.75 million. That’s $14.25 million in base salary, $4.5 million in fines and $3 million in bonus forfeiture, according to football insider reports.

Is he demanding more money?

These holdouts rarely work out

You either get injured when you get back or are not the same player

He will never get that money back

They work only if you are a true superstar and a player that the fans pay to see. I'm old - so I remember Emmett Smith holding out one year in Dallas, and they lost their first two games, and then Dallas quickly got him signed. Nobody pays to see Reddick, he's not being missed.

He sounds a lot like Le'veon Bell, once considered one of the greatest running backs ever.

Those people, have to stop acting like those people in the business world and act like normal people. Like MJ who realized he couldn't act like a typical you know what and acted instead like a normal person and as a result, his business sense is sharp. Not like those typical people who like Allen Iverson, somehow some way squandered $100 million dollars or that real typical one MC Hammer. Sheesh....those people. No getting through except for a few exceptions here and there.

Here's the icing on the cake:

Worse yet, Reddick's contract would toll, #Jets would retain his rights in 2025, & we'd do this all over again.
😳

He could be the best player in the universe, but I am just as good as he is, when he isn't playing.

I think my odds of getting signed to a good contract in the NFL are probably about the same as his are, now.

Hold out May get him a couple million a year more
It would take him ten years to make up the lost income for this year
