Positive air pressure inside perhaps? The stairwells have large fans to keep the fire out. My question is what do they have on the outside of the building that is combustible?

I've been to Dubai, and all those new skyscrapers that they built have some very sophisticated fire and security systems. My guess is they were able to shut off parts of the building.

And good fire systems are the only reason I can think of that nobody died there.
