Drawing in crowds for a spectacle is as wanting to gain approval for the show.
And such is the same when others are 'welcomed' to hear the Word of God.
The inviters are not ashamed of what they have been hearing and so don't mind if they invite new spectators, per se, to 'enjoy' the same 'show' or message as they have been enjoying.
And it is within these shows, messages, that the hearers learn of what The Messiah Christ is as. What is that 'message'? Is it a message of 'hope' or a message of endurance? Is it a message of being strong with fortitude? What could that 'message' be that the inviters seem so sure about?
Well, nonetheless, if such spectators have been invited to a certain kind of 'show', message, and the theme has been the same throughout, then it wouldn't seem 'out of place' if the continuation of that 'message' continued. And some do enter into an arena where the message is one of strength and might and even exact retribution to wrong doing. And so when those involved in that show show themselves as being so, as driving out the villain and keeping the crowds safe, many can be led into believing that what they have seen and received is what The Truth actually is.
This is not the case with The LORD and with God and with The Christ Messiah. Instead of 'driving' out the villains and wrong doers, they first need to show themselves the opposite. What do they do, how are they NOT wrong doers, how are they NOT villains, themselves? Because IF they do not show that they are NOT villains themselves, who's to say that they are not gathering a show to gain recruits to 'drive' out the non villains, the non wrong doers?
