Donald Trump's name

This might be in the wrong forum. The only reason I'm putting it here is because I'm going to talk about this from a biblical perspective. Biblically, names are significant. There are many examples in the bible of a person's name expressing something about that person, either about their purpose, or something about their personality, etc.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that is the case with this one, this could be nothing, or it could be just coincidence. But the other day I was reading something about Donald Trump's name that I thought was interesting.

So let's break it down.

The name Donald means 'world leader' or 'ruler of the world.' You can see that here.

The name Trump means either trumpeter or drum. You can see that here. A trumpeter is someone who proclaims or heralds something, in other words a herald. You can see that here.

So when you put it together, Donald Trump's name means "world leader herald".... or herald to the coming world leader.

I know that this site is very mainstream, so most here probably don't even believe that we're heading toward the New World Order. (That's a topic for another thread.) But to me it's obvious that we are, and in light of that, I think Donald Trump's name is interesting.

I think you completely misunderstood my post. I wasn't talking at all about how Donald Trump is doing as a president. I'm not even a Trump supporter. This is not at all about his leadership or lack thereof.

I think you and I see this differently too. But that's OK. For now I just wanted to bring up Trump's name... and not get into things like his true intent and where his allegiance lies.

The initial workings in the end time period is NOT the bringing in a new world order in the sense that we may have thought....in the beginning of the anti Christ rise, what prophesy says it that it will be Nation against Nation, Nationalism, isolationism at first, but then the protectionism and nationalism will lead to war....And then a new alignment.... Nationalism is what the AntiChrist initially introduces as his solution to all problem and claims it brings world peace, but it doesnt, it brings just the opposite....I just heard a couple of sermons on it, with scripture references and felt enlightened after wards.

I don't want to put words in your mouth, so I'll just ask you... so you think the NWO is a good thing? The NWO is the beast system. The GOOD thing happens AFTER the NWO, in the next age, when the true power of this world (Jesus) returns.

I'd like to see what scriptures the pastor you listened to is basing his sermon on. Do you have a link?

Wow, I don't think you could've misunderstood this thread more if you tried.

I would never in a million years claim he's the second coming of the Messiah, I'm not even a Trump supporter.

The point (which I admit is just an idea, and it could be wrong) is that he is a HERALD for the NEXT world leader, which will be the New World Order. Which is not a good thing, obviously.

Dang, I'm just now realizing that half the people who responded misunderstood the point. I guess I didn't make myself very clear.

I'd like to see what scriptures the pastor you listened to is basing his sermon on. Do you have a link?

The new world order is not a good thing, but it is not the new world order that we have imagined it or thought.....What we have now is not a new world order, it's the world order we have been operating under for decades if not century(s).

Government is always better when it's limited, and more local. With nation states, if a government becomes tyrannical, at least the people have a chance to rise up and overthrow it. But in a massive global government, especially one where there is no freedom and the citizenry is disarmed, how can that ever happen? The people are like sitting ducks.

Can you also biblically link or just explain is fine, where you get your impression of what the new world order in the Bible is.... I think I know all the passages, I just want to know how you interpret them, to believe what you believe....this can be in Pm or on the thread.

The New world order is not formed until the Anti Christ is on the scene.... is my understanding....?

"World leader" is fitting. "Ruler of the world" is a stretch. President Trump is not the Antichrist. Some believe he will be America's last president as we enter "The Time of Jacob's Trouble" well know in a couple years

And yes, there is a theory that he is last US president. It is based on some very interesting and eerie predictive programming, in books, movies, TV, etc.

There's a book that was written over a hundred years ago called 'The Last President' by Ingersoll Lockwood.... and although I haven't read it, people are saying that in it there are some uncanny coincidences to what is going on today.

I know you are opposed to 'conspiracy theories'.... so I'm kind of surprised that you mentioned that belief about Trump being the last president.

Here's a short video about that book. But like I said, it's not just that book, there's some interesting seemingly prophetic stuff in other places as well.

There's a book that was written over a hundred years ago called 'The Last President' by Ingersoll Lockwood.... and although I haven't read it, people are saying that in it there are some uncanny coincidences, for example the main character is Baron Trump, and it's about a president who is a rich man who is very controversial, and on and on.

I believe there are conspiracies. The failed assassination attempt is one I firmly believe.
