Donald Trump's handling of that CR Resolution was a masterclass!!!

Your TDS is really showing. All the people who don't have TDS see it quite differently.
"All the people who don't have TDS see it quite differently."?

Bullsh#t. It is no sign of any kind of derangement, to be aware of who posted first on the largest media on the planet, which he owns, who followed suit and made the phone calls to make it happen. Outcome? Same money spent, but without the regulation of tech going to China, Musk did not want. No increase in the debt ceiling as the Biden administration leaves office, that Trump wanted. No doing away with the debt ceiling, permanently, that he suggested. He didn't even get a two-year suspension of the debt ceiling, to help finance another tax cut, he wanted. Donny simply did not get much for his followership. It is no kind of derangement to recognize it, though it may be some kind of cognitive problem to not be able to look past partisanship to see it. Have a Merry Christmas. There will be no government shutdown, during the Christmas Holidays, during Biden's last month in office, so that should give you some Christmas cheer.

One observation Elon made was that the government computer systems are so outdated and/or inefficient, a proper audit is almost impossible. He will recommend that one of the first things done is correct that problem.
/—-/ A friend who worked in Washington said the problem in a bureaucracy is no one wants to be the front man and push for change. If it fails, it’s the kiss of death. It’s easier to kick the can down the road. If they do and succeed , their higher ups will grab the credit. Why take the risk?

No President Musk got exactly what he wanted.

/—-/ I’m seeing on social media that the democRATs have changed their rant from Trump is Hitler, Trump is a dictator to Musk is president.
Of course this idiotic talking point will fail too.
He is not President. He was not and cannot be elected, but the influence of $277 Million spent by him to put Don there as a figurehead is showing more signs of being real ever since Election Day. It does not bother me, as that was what the people voted for, nobody ever thinking anybody would through $277 Million into it, with no expectation of return on investment. From a financial standpoint, it has already paid off for him to the tune of almost $200 Billion, in increased investment, about 722 times the investment in his business. Not bad for less than 2 month return on investment, plus getting regulations scrapped, aimed at China, that would have effected Musks manufacturing there. Looks like investors know who either has the President's ear or his balls.

I don't want to deal with all the really wrong statements in your post so I'll just wish you a pleasant afternoon, Merry Christmas and let it go at that. Have a good one.

Trump, Musk, Ramaswamy and I imagine all the rest of the team Trump is putting together are not only willing to take the risk but they are determined to take the risk to dismantle the self serving, unmanageable, unfathomable, unaffordable government we now have and restore it to something much MUCH closer to what the Founders intended.

I for one wish them blessings for all kinds of success in doing that. And if they fall short here and there I'll give them credit for honestly trying which nobody else has for a very very long time.

And, truly wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, next week.:)

He just put TRUMP on it

That's like peanut butter on jelly on gold.

Trump rarely gets everything he wants in the art of the deal. But he gets what is most important. By giving up the debt ceiling increase or better yet elimination of the debt ceiling so we wouldn't have to waste time on these meaningless but expensive CR fights every three to six months, he got every Democrat to vote for that bill so that he (Trump) couldn't have that. . That way he didn't have to worry about losing the Freedom Caucus votes who were demanding spending cuts the Democrats would never ever agree to.

The man is brilliant.

Everything is a negotiation.

Or -

There is no or,
Everything is a negotiation.

We really are in two different realities.

yep.

There is the real one and there is the Democrat Media Bubble Cult orchestrated one.

The resolution that did pass twas not pork free, sorry so called master class clowns and,no debt ceiling resolution, poh Trump forgets one does not demand one sways another to do shit together.
You don't need to legislate a debt limit when you limit the pork. DOGE will be a great 'debt limit.'

And oddly that seems to be all it takes to win your vote.

Disastrous polices don't matter.

Publicly sucking Putin's schlong doesn't matter.

Failing at nearly everything doesn't matter.

and all because he "owns the left", which is pretty much all in yall's collective imagination anyway.
