Donald Trump warns Mark Zuckerberg could ‘spend the rest of his life in prison’ if Meta ‘cheats’ in election

HOW VERY ODD -- -- --
  • Donald Trump is charged with 700 years in jail under the specious accusation that he tried to influence the 2020 election.
  • But people are having a conniption over Trump saying that Zuckerberg /could/ go to jail if he actually DOES influence an election???

What does that even mean? Citizens have every right to try to influence elections by engaging in speech.

Lots of things influence an election. The commission of crimes to influence an election (hacking computers, colluding with the soviets as the blob’s 2016 campaign did, staging insurrections) ain’t cool.

How very odd you don’t know the difference.

These are the things that dictators say. META cannot cheat in the election, but as a private company they have the right to moderate the content on their platform. Telling them they cannot violates the First Amendment.
Worked for Biden and Harris.

Not for want of trying.

He's always used lawfare against people.

Donald Trump Is the 'Lawfare' King

Still, Trump is right to recognize the existence of what is now being called "lawfare." But he is wrong to suggest it has been invented to persecute him. It is Trump himself who mastered the art far long before anyone started using that term.

With his "lawfare" claims, Trump is just projecting again. Commentators have long noted Trump's tendency to distract from his own wrongdoing by loudly accusing others of doing the very thing he is trying to get away with. In the Trump lexicon, "Crooked Hillary" was followed by "Crooked Joe." "Lyin' Ted Cruz gave way to "Lyin' Hillary" which gave way to "Lyin' James Comey," which gave way to applying the term to his adversaries in court along with his own former White House chief of staff and his hand-picked chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

---------
He has always accused his critics, opponents and enemies as the ones doing what he does.
He is not the government and it was not election interference.

Democrat pressure? What, did they threaten to put him in prison like Trump?
Yes, they threatened to go after him if he didn’t suppress the stories or opinions they didn’t like. That’s exactly what they did. The democrats sent their agencies to force Facebook to silence people. Are you too stupid to understand that?

And what did they threaten them with? Jail?

Yes, facebook is company but it is also a huge platform for speech

Private or public, free speech can not be censored.

We cant yell fire in a crowded theater, which is private ...

Now this 5 MN video of Vivek was shot long before Zuckerberg's apology and reversal.

Also coincidentally it's the first time he hasn't sounded like a snake oil salesman. He sounds brilliant and decent in this interview.
Now this explains why people like him. Can't blame them either. Good at negotiating and making deals. We need that more than cancel culture.

Former President Donald Trump railed against Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in his upcoming book, accusing the tech tycoon of undermining him in the last election and warning of possible jail time.

Trump, 78, recounted meeting with Zuckerberg, 40, and seethed over the 2020 election in his upcoming book “Save America,” set to hit bookshelves on Sept. 3.

“We are watching him closely, and if he does anything illegal this time he will spend the rest of his life in prison — as will others who cheat in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Trump wrote in the book, per a preview obtained by Politico.

Fortunately, the way things are going now, it is highly unlikely that Trump will win the election... this will end up being moot.

Assuming that non-MAGAtt-America gets off its a$$ and votes in numbers large enough to swamp the MAGAtt rowboat...

Zuck and the dems should already be in jail for taking away first amendment rights but, of course, Garland won't prosecute his own kind for doing it.

Trump should be in jail too?

Oh wait, it's different because ....?

Navaroli testified that her supervisors told her and her team that the platform received “something of a request” from Trump to take down a tweet that Teigen posted criticizing him.

“In that particular instance, I do remember hearing that we had received a request from the White House to make sure that we evaluated this tweet and that they wanted it to come down because it was a derogatory statement directed toward the president,” Navaroli said.
