Mr. Trump called Mr. Kaine, who formerly served as Virginia governor, a “failed governor” who raised taxes and allowed the state to become a top destination for illegal immigrants.

“Our open border is also being used as a recruiting tool for criminal gangs, creating a growing gang problem right here in the state of Virginia where a large number of gang members are in the country illegally,” he said. “We are going to end this chaos and restore peace, law and order to our land.”

The three that shot him were all illegal immigrants and my money’s on them being MS-13 gang members. The people on Loudoun County feel terrorized and I don’t blame them. MS-13 is one of the most vicious gangs in the world and they are now in their neighborhood. You're right about taxation. I remember Kaine running on a somewhat "no new taxes" campaign ... and at his inaugural ceremony in Williamsburg before he even left the podium ... he signed a new tax bill. With much help from his father-in-law, former Gov. Linwood Holton (who himself was elected once on the Republican ticket and once on the Democrat ticket). Holton's daughter Ann is Kaine's wife ... and she was appointed by now Gov. Terry McCauliff as VA's Secretary of Education.
