Obama probably respects and envies Trump because he is the actual change candidate that Obama was supposed to be.

Obama had some wins but his greatest success was simply not being Bush. He won a Nobel Prize for beating Bushes next in line in McCain meanwhile Russia and China rolled over him. That had to be due to their intel assets in his circle.

Trump wins because of his opponent but also because of what he brings, REAL change as an outsider of Washington. America thinks "he is a product of America who rose to the top in business, why shouldn't we leverage his talents and experience to change D.C?"

I guarantee you Obama has many regrets, mainly that he couldn't be the real rebel he wanted to be. He divided out of desperation as his administration didn't have popular ideas whereas Trump unites under a common flag and Constitution.

There is no analytical response, just attempts to find a sob story and over generalized accusations. I suppose it makes sense. They can hardly pull out flow charts of why tax dollars must go through half a dozen NGOs (owned by family and friends) before a fraction of the money reaches the intended destination.
