At a moment when so many people on the right are smearing any impolite Trump critic as complicit in the assassination attempt, revisiting Trump’s long history of flirtation with verbal violence is in order—if only to keep the record straight.

So, bearing in mind that nothing Trump has said or done excuses or mitigates the horrific acts of his would-be assassin, here’s a list of instances of Trump normalizing, endorsing, promoting, or winking at political and other violence.

Trump doesn't just have opponents he has people, institutions, races, and nationalities he despises and vilifies hatefully.

Russia is a good reminder to them of just how bad communism is. Even russia , like China have moved further away from communism but they are both still repressive authoritarian governments. Cuba is most pathetic of all and with so much opportunity all around them it's a darn shame they haven't changed. Vietnam has completely embraced capitalism. North Korea is another sad holdout.

No they believe in top down centralized power and planning, not so much different than communism. Would you want to live where you can be jailed for voicing your opinion? People in the EU and Canada are facing exactly that.
